.

I would volunteer to deliver her Caprice SS - after hours, and show her some functions available only in Z back seat.

Absolutely Scarrzz! Also, may I suggest that some of the front seat options could be explored...providing there is enough room of course...

Mentioned it in another thread, but don't feel like making another stupid poll. Just wondering what my fellow Zee-ophiles would think about a dark purple colour? Like a tad darker than Plum Crazy.

Also: I find it unacceptable that this thread made it down to like 15th place in the Z section. SHAME

There was a color similar to that on Gen-4s...that had a very low take-rate and was, therefore, cancelled...

Purple - Gray Metallic (from the early 4th gen's) still one of my all-time Favorite GM colors!

For previous Gen-4 colors, and their relative desirability, try here:

http://www.camarozone.com/forum/f26/...r-prod-s-4952/

Bright Purple Metallic, Code 88, 1997-98, was the rarest color produced...almost exclusively on V6 models, and NO SSs.

Purple-Grey Metallic/Purple Pearl Metallic (also called Amethyst), Code 91, was more grey with a purple-ish cast. Widely used by Chev/Pontiac/Buick/Olds, mid-'90s.

Dark Purple Metallic, Code 5, leaned toward a Burgundy/Plum hue.

Speaking of Zs other than the ZL1, has anyone picked up on any other Z cars going to SEMA? Any news from anywhere?

A few of the builds are hinted at, elsewhere here, Pete. Kern would have the "official list" of GM-sanctioned builds. As to others, many are "saved" to have their reveals @ SEMA, with fanfare!

Are there any, Pedders-equipped?

Kern? Who is he?

I can't imagine a SEMA without Pedders on a Camaro, but what do I know
