Sickspeed shift knob?

Anyone install these? They claim to fit our camaros

They come with 3 different sized plastic sleeves, one of which fits on the stock stick. You tighten it down with 3 supplied screws.

I did not install it because the leather boot does not look right. They do not supply a way to secure it properly. You could secure it to the bottom of your old stock shift rim. The plastic silver rim is removable from the shift knob.

I see what you mean. I guess we need something like this Barton adapter to tie the boot to, otherwise it sags:

It is the correct pattern for the V6, which is what I have. They do have the v8 pattern as well. But that's not really the issue, the issue is getting them installed on the stock shifter.

The ad says the same knob applies to all versions of Camaro (with reverse to the upper left). I'd be careful when ordering for a V8...


PS - Their flame series knobs look pretty cool...
