12.22@113 ARH Headers, ADM CAI and CarolinaAutomasters tune! Nothing more. L99 FTW

I went to a track rental today at Richmond Dragway in Sandston Va. Very nice air today and the track hooked well most of the time. I ran 28 times! Well worth the 105.00 fee to run in the rental, 6 hours of side by side racing. I even was runner up (aka first loser..:( ) in the quick 8 shootout..

I ran a slew of 12.2x`s the best being 12.22@113.29 w/ a 1.84 60 foot on stock P zero`s, I also ran a bunch of 12.3x`s, and about 4-5 passes slower than 12.3x, 1 was a 19.18@56mph in the 1/4...blew the tires off and took a liesurly drive down the 1320... My best run was w/ a DA of -648 which means we had some great air.

I have a L99 w/ ARH Longtubes catted X-pipe stock mufflers, ADM Race CAI, and a Carolina Automasters Performance tune. Jeff from Carolina Automasters said the Trans Tune he has is out of this world. Let me tell you he aint joking... When I hit second the front end would pop up and spin the tires slightly. One guy there thought I had a manual the way it was shifting...

I ran this w/ a raceweight of 3985 w/ me in the car 1/8 tank gas on the stock tires and rims, rear pressure at 28lbs. I would hold the brake w/ the left foot stall it up to about 1200rpm and flash the converter and I was off... Man the car felt great today!

So for anybody that is thinking well I don`t want an L99 cause they are slow, think again! 3 Mods and its a beast compared to stock.

Big Thanks To Jeff at Carolina Automasters, Andy from ADM and Nick from ARH!

Her`s my slip:

I wish I could tell ya, but its over my pay grade, and I`m not sure he would share his secrets since he tunes for a living. I`m sure he would tune yours for you though for a nominal fee... It really is awesome though, all kidding aside.

Nice! Jeff has always done geat work and tuning on my rides, looking forward to taking the Camaro in soon. I slapped the SLP LM2 kit on this evening, got a cai coming in tomorrow and then I think I can call him up for a tune soon. Did you guys happen to catch the Pass Time episode with 2 vettes he tuned racing each other in the combo round? Awesome cars.

I think you are the fastest now.

Excellent job.

I just had another call today stating their car dropped 3 tenths when switching to the race version of our intake.
