Top Ten Reasons Why I think my 2010 Gen5 Camaro is Better Than a Gen6 Camaro.

Please add to the list according to your experience. Counting from 10 down:

10) My Gen5 is better looking. Just look at that beautiful car. My insurance - Liberty Mutual - has been sued twice for neck injures caused by people staring while driving by and twisting their neck. The sweet retro 69 Camaro styling is gone from the Gen6.
9) My Gen5 is more massive. More weight is better if you get into a collision. That’s why the Gen6 Camaro bounces off a Gen5 like a ping pong ball off a Mac truck. During Gen5/Gen6 head-on crash testing, the Gen6 was totaled while the Gen5 didn’t even deploy its air bag.

Yeah, you might be relatively alone on this one. The first part is purely subjective, the second is just silly.

8) It is less expensive.
I'll play here but 10) is in the eye of the beholder. I love my rear end, but the 2016 looks great in front. And 9), really? The 2016 is lighter which is not a minus, faster, and handles better.

I've edited the thread to be a bit more appropriate...

Just so you know, #9 sounds pretty ridiculous...

7) I like to throw my weight around.
6) Gen5 fosters innovation. -Hmmmm How do I get one of those rev matching paddles?
5) Enjoy modding Gen5 to be more like Gen6. HP, Suspension, Rev Matcher

The 6th gen may be faster, lighter and more high tech, but the 5th gen looks better from a styling standpoint. I really tried to like the 6th gen, but I keep coming back to the beautiful unmitigated 5th gen design.

When I sat in a 6th gen at the dealership, I did not like how rounded and bulbous the hoodline looked from the driver's seat. The classic cowl induction hood with slightly raised fender peaks on the 5th gen is one of the best looking hoodlines since the 1st gen.

The only thing I like better on the 6th gen is the more aggressive front grill treatment on the base models and the uplevel trim 20" wheel design.
