Wink 2010 Mustang picture!

In a move to counter GM's recent official pictures of the pre-production Camaro, Ford have now released pictures of the 2010 Mustang.

I've always felt the '69 Mustang was the best looking of the breed and despite this being a 2009 Camaro/2005 Mustang chop, there are overtones of the '69 Mustang in there.

The chop was taken from here:

Well, that ought to lift some Mustang fans' spirits, huh? because any other way, the poor 'Stang has no chance at competing in the styling dept. with Camaro.

I'm feeling slightly outnumbered here, so I'll bow out gracefully.

I'll even add that, yes, even I think the Camaro is a seriously good looking car. Possibly even nicer than the Mustang and I'm sure it'll certainly drive better.

Still love my 'Stang though.

Twin, don't take it that way. Okay, do take it that way, but for the most part, I'm sure people here are fine with your posts.

Now, if we can convert you to the Chevy side of things, that would be great.

Let's see you try it on the new frontal shots of the Camaro

Again, these aren't my Photoshops, but:

The idea was to take the Camaro and blend the style of the '69 Mustang.

I think it works from the front fender backwards, but the nose needs a lot of work. It should be more forward sloping/shark-nosed.

I saw that over on the site that you provided the link for originally.

I actually think the Red "combo" looks like a possible revival of the old AMX Javelin.

Maybe call up Chrysler and pitch it to them....they are looking to get rid of the Viper and the Challenger is definitely not in the same "class" as the Camaro/Mustang with it's high price, so maybe they need a muscle car for this price range.
