Unwanted Attention gets me my 1st plate warning - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I am smoking hot mad right now.

I passed a HP officer who just finished writing a ticket and he followed me down the freeway for about 5 miles... he even exited with me and then pulls me over 2 blocks from my house... Said I changed lanes on the frontage road with no signal... NO OTHER FREAKIN REASON... and I highly doubt he could even see my signal from the angle... I always signal..

Then proceeds through the Drug, Alcohol and Firearm questions... want's to know where I've been and where I'm going... Blah Blah Blah.. Then tops it all off with a "no front plate" warning... (I knew I was dead when he walked to the front of the car to check it out)

Theeeeen wants to talk about the car and how his department was considering them for use.

WTF

Of course I gave him full respect, just told him the car draws TOO MUCH ATTENTION.

Man this was total

What else could have happened? I was so damn legal the only thing he could have done was write a full fledged ticket for the plate. HMMMM guess you're right... that would have sucked more... cause I'm NOT putting the plate on...

He zeroed in on the car and wasn't going to let go until he stopped me... the plate was an after thought...

I will give him one thing he was thorough... Don't think I have every had one walk in front of the car to actually check that. He was behind me the whole time and never had a chance to see the front plate.

there is, but it's not enforced...I lived there for 7 tears, and got pulled over only once for not having a front vanity plate on the car. No ticket, just a warning. Did I put it on after that? Nah!!

DUDE WTF? Was it HPD? Do you remember his name? Where were you when that happened? Off of 45 by greenspoint? Let me know who did that if it's HPD. if it's at greenspoint I'll have a talk with him if you remember the name

I'm not getting a front plate either. As for the no frame warning, I haven't heard anything about that requirement here in TX.

Don't break the law. Don't get hasseled. Simple. Make proper lane changes, and if your state requires a front plate, get it on there!! Simple.

If I pulled over everyone that doesn't use a blinker I would never get any work done. Here in Houston I think we have 4+Million ppl about 200 of them use blinkers, srsly. Same thing on the fwy, everyone does about 10-15 over, can't stop everyone.
