I definitley want T-Tops or Removable roof. I like having the open air feel but not as much wind as a vert gives. I loved the panoramic sun roof that my pontiac G 6 had.. hell i bought the car just for that!

How's this...

Historically, sunroofs have been opaque and open to the air to allow the sun to shine directly into the vehicle, while moonroofs have generally been transparent or semi-transparent and designed to remain closed while allowing muted light to penetrate the vehicle.
Variations have become the norm and often combine the features of the Sun and Moon types into a single device. It is not uncommon to see tinted glass that can retract fully like a traditional sun roof, remain closed like a traditional moon roof, or tilt to allow for airflow. Meaning there is really no difference anymore...

I don't think you'll see a T-top or a roof panel. However you might see a sunroof and the vert.

I am all for the T-tops even though they will never be on this car but that is ok.

I think it's going to be impossible to put a removable roof panel in because it will be to big to store in the car, and I'ld hate to get caught in the rain with no roof. I've always wanted a convertable but I'm afraid of vandles so I'ld go with t-tops or a sunroof.

I would like the Convertible but I would rather take the money and just move up to the SS version rather than that so I will probably stick with the coupe. I hope at least it comes with a sunroof or something. Depends on how much they want extra for the Convertible.

If "Removable roof panel" means targa, then HELL YES. My Supra was targa-topped, and that is absolutely,, without a doubt, the most beautiful invention ever.

And you can bet your ass that there was an enormous handling difference with the top on and off. Unlike a vert which benefits next to nothing from top up or down, the targa adds huge rigidity to the chassis, and still gives that wonderful cruising-feeling with it off.

Has anyone seen the Vert with the top up. I just wanted to kno if its a hard top or not. I still want the open air feeling like my ttops when just cruisin but i dont like the way verts look with the top up if they are a soft top.

The convertible concept has no top at all actually.

The production version will be soft-top, not hard top.

I agree with you on soft-top not looking that good.

For structurual stiffness / safety / and weight I'll take a hardtop coupe hands down any day. Also fewer issues with wind noise, rattles and leaks. The vert looks sweet but H/T for me.
