I went to specs tonight and when I came out there was a guy was next to my car.... So naturally I asked him "what's up?" And he said is this an SS? ( like the ss badges didn't give it away) I said it sure is and light the tires up and looked back one time and you could see the grin on his face from a mile off lol I have been a big truck guy
My hole life but his face was priceless

My friend has a 2010 charger R/T that his parents bought him about a year ago because they wanted him to have a sports car. Me of course having been eyeing the camaro thought how perfect! Me and my best friend both having cool cars. So eventually I bought mine and my friend was happy for me and we were always washing our cars and just hangin out talking about our cars. I got the 2lt. Once his parents found out that I got the v6 they immediately said how I got a fake sports car and it had nothing on my friends v8 that they bought. My friend would always tell his parents to cut it out (he really didn't care about racing/outdoing each other). But the parents would always tell me I should have bought a focus. Now everytime I come over with my car, they say "oh how is the focus..I mean camaro driving?" Gets me really pissed off sometimes because no matter what I tell them they just believe that v6 = shitty car.

Nevermind the fact that this V6 lays down about as much HP as the last gen SS? Ignore the ignorant parents who clearly don't do their homework about cars.

Yea I don't let it bother me in front of them, just smile and say it's great. The part I don't get is that they aren't even car people (hence the ignorant comments). I'm not saying I'm a car genius, but a simple google search shows that my LT stock isn't too far behind his R/T which is bone stock.

You should lay down some rubber in their driveway.

That would probably be the end of the Focus comments. There could possibly be new problems though... I still think it's a good idea!

Friends father thought he had the coolest Dodge Avenger in the world. Gave me hell about my LS when I first bought it. We were all heading to party and we got on the interstate. I toyed with him the entire way blowing past him and he just couldn't touch the camaro. He was frustrated to the max and conceded and gave the car the respect it deserves lol
