i wish they made a lower hp v8 that costs less.
I want that rumble and the torque....main reason why i didn't get the v6.
If I wanted a 300 v6, i would've went 370z or g37.

There's no guarantee that having a lower-powered V8 would cost less...The Impala SS, and the G8 GT are perfect examples of that...the Impala has a 300hp V8 , and it costs MORE than the SS Camaro.....The kind of value we're getting in the SS is unmatchable...it really makes me think, sometimes......

It's not about wanting a 300-horse V6...it's about wanting a CAMARO...and being given this state-of-the-art V6 as an option for those not willing (or able) to spend 30+k on a car. Or for those not willing to pay for premium gasoline + lower mileage...

There's a whole host of reasons that can make the LT the better option for a person. And I think that all the V6 buyers are looking for is an acknowledgement of that and the fact that one person's preferences can be vastly different from another's. Specifically, an end to the petty "V8 > than V6" comments. No one here is saying the LT Camaro is somehow better, faster, etc than the SS...what they're saying is; I want the V6 model, and here's why.

Personally, I think the very few who make a living out of attacking V6 buyers as somehow less important, or stupid, or whatever...are mindless fools with nothing better to do. That's why some people are dissing the V6.....

Ha ha. You should see the looks I get when I wave at F-bodies from behind the wheel of my wife's Yaris.

Men stall like non stop its disgusting.
I don't stall and I'm a man, therefore your entire argument has become false. I have stalled out three times in my life while driving stick, and all three times came on my first day driving a car.

I have driven many more manuals than a civic. The civic is just the only car I own. (at least for now)

^ He's a wild and crazy guy! Don't get him started on torque and nuts...

A little humor to offset the dissing.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to own a V6 Camaro. My 1980 L81 Corvette had only 195 HP and the V6 Camaro has over 300!!

I'm freaking out about the combo, and haven't even seen it for real yet.

I think once we see an ABM SS/RS with white rally stripes, that's it, game over. And I agree
