I think these pics of the the IOM ZL1 at the Toronto auto show should have it's own thread. That way all of the discussion (and panic du jour

) about the gray stripe can be discussed.

Sounds good to me. I guess it is up to the mods to move it because it way beyond my know how. I will start a thread and maybe they can move it there.

That's a head scratcher for sure. I can see a non-painted sharkfin on a striped car without a sunroof (even though it won't match up as well with the gray stripe), but if they're not putting a roof stripe on the sunroof cars then the sharfin should be painted the color of the body.

That stripe is NOT grey, its light silver.

....nothing for nothing here....I can understand people not liking something on a car and voicing their dislike for it, but using "adjectives" like _hit or _rap and alike I can not. We can do better than that folks.....lets take the high road.

IMHO...if you ordered something without having any idea what it'll look like...you're really in no position to blast the people who made it. Dislike it, fine...frankly, I'm not thrilled with the appearance, myself...but relax a little bit....

Agreed... that's one reason I chose to switch from exposed CF / gray stripe to black/black a few months back.

I took these pic originally and believe me the color of the stripe in this picture is very close to the real thing. The orange is wrong but then again that color is a nightmare to get a good picture of...especially under show lights.

I agree about the ordering part of your statement but the DSW description is deceiving..... I can see why some people are upset about it.

Maybe. I could also see how it may be taken too literally...I do recall being told a few times on the forum they would be a solid color. It seems a bit moot to use the RPO code "against them".

To me that stripe is no where near...
