Exhaust options?

I know our cars are still relatively new...but has anyone heard of any aftermarket exhaust options available soon?

My plan is to keep stock manifolds but replace everything else...prolly start with an X-pipe that eliminates the secondary cats. I am still unsure if I like the oem muffler sound. C7 ZO6's sound a lot better for some reason.

Go full exhaust or nothing at all. Arh 1.75 long tubes with 3 inch collectors, xpipe, and find a 3inch catback with dual mode feature that has a sound you like. No cats.

I think something like this is the way to go...headers-to-axle...but retain NPP.

Or....if warranty is in your head - I'm sure the regular companies will be supplying a version of their SS NPP replacements (retains valves, makes sound louder) for the ZL1...the systems are similar...just different pipe diameters.

I have NPP with my ARH full system and it works, but works a lot better with a forza controller.

The one thing to alert everyone to is that you will loose some of that exhaust gurgle. It's the one downside but I really didn't care because it sounds so much better. This even happens to people who just change to an X pipe and leave everything else alone.

ZL1 Tommy: (or anyone that knows the answer to this can chime in) if I'm not mistaken that exhaust system will also be compatible with a regular SS? I am on the fence between Magnaflow, Borla or Stainless Works when I get my new ZL1 but it seems the the latter two brands do not have ZL1 specific exhaust systems yet.

Could you put an aftermarket exhaust on a ZL1 that is designed to go on a SS?

Just wondering....

Thanks for any input!

Yep. The exhaust on my ZL1 is the same one designed for the SS.

If that is the case this might be back on the table for me... just hope they will make this catback system compatible with the NPP flaps....
