Oh yeah, I would definitely say don't spend more money than you would by painting them yourself. It's not hard to get them off and you wouldn't need much paint. Not a hard DIY in the grand scheme of things.

Dental floss. Then an adhesive remover to get any remaining residue off.

I would also put a strip of masking tape beneath the letters and mark the edges of the letters, so you can line them up again when you re-install them.

Heat Gun (hair dryer works) Fishing Line (dental floss works), Isopropyl Alcohol.

Use the heat gun to warm up surface area. You shouldn't need it more than 25 - 30 seconds per area, work the line or floss in between letters and the body. After it's off use the alcohol to saturate the adhesive. It's a bitch, BTW.

About 30 to 45 minutes.

I think the car looks cleaner w/ the letters off. Plus no water, soap, pollen wax, (you name it) collects there now. Sponges, wash mitts, micro cloths also no longer get snagged there.

Infidel

Hi all,

This is my 2012 Camaro. I've been debating if I should leave the Infidel decal on. It's a common tradition for us Marines to have this decal in response to fighting Islamic-extremists. Let me know what you guys think!
