Ground Effects (ground clearance)
I have tried to search and couldn't find good information, but my question is: Does the Camaro scrape going over driveway curb or speed bumps. I purchased the ground effects but I didn't think about the clearance. I live on a small hill and I hope the driveway curb doesn't bottom out.
Just wondering if anyone with ground effects have run into this issue? Thanks in advance

From looking at the pics it seems the GFX aren't really that much lower, they just give it a lower appearance by drawing the eye downward.

from what I understand and have seen they don't go any further down the the car already sits, it just squares off the bottom to make it look lower.

Somebody with ground effects needs to just go above and beyond and take us some pictures with them next to speed bumps and curbs.

The ground effects doesn't lower the car at all. The rubber air dam under the front is not touched at all with the GFX. It stays in the same position. I haven't had any problems scraping, even on very steep curb lines. It even clears normal concrete parking blocks. On my '06 C6 vette, you couldn't even
get a fist under the air dam.

we have ground effects and the car still sits higher than our vette. we've pulled up to curbs/parking stops and never once scraped in the camaro. same with speed bumps.. i wouldnt advise going 30mph over a speed bump though

Thanks for all the feedback, it sounds like it willn't be an issue and that is good news. Thanks again.
