Definitely looks wider than the Avenger, but that isn't a surprise. We've been told before how close the dimensions will be to the concept's.

Other than that, its looking amazing.

Yeah, the Camaro is definitely wider buy probably a couple inches. And damn it looks good!!!! Great comparo. With all these pics lately it makes me feel like I did when I first saw those CAD renderings back in Dec. 2005. Hopefully GM will decide to do some hot-weather testing here, I wanna see it sooooooo bad!

i hate to say this, and i hope SOOOO bad that im wrong, but going by how they are loading the cars and stuff up, i think they might be done testing in FL, but if the are, then all they need to do is take a run up around my area, because if they need some messed up weather conditions to test in, then terre haute is the place, no body will know but me 60 one day 20 the next, bring'em up here, matter of fact, just bring one to my house , and just so im not selfish, just deliver one to all of our houses, how about that? come on, share the love GM !

Thanks for the pics.
That gives a good perspective. It doesn't look too big to me.

Ha!! That pic makes the Camaro look like a little midget!! and people were worried about weight.

I think it's a touch wider than the Avenger. maybe by a couple of inches...but no more.

For reference:

The Dodge Avenger is:
58.9 Inches high, and
72.8 inches wide.

with ~5 inch ground clearance.

Corvette is 72.6 inches wide...and the Camaro is wider than the 'vette. (As per Fbodfather.) so it stands to reason that the pic is skewed a bit.

I think that the Camaro's nose narrows in front of the front wheels and looks to be a couple inches wider over the rear wheels, whereas the Avenger looks pretty blocky.
