Ok, so I'm leaving work last night and the Donato's pizza delivery guy is taking a cell phone picture of the Camaro...then I go to The Anderson's store for some stuff for dinner and a young man in a white "Mustang" is taking a cell phone picture of the Camaro...then I drive home and I notice a guy in a 2008 RAM hemi 4 X 4 following me close...I'm thinking, "Hey bud, back off"...then he follows me home and pulls up along side and says, "Hey Mister, can I take a picture of your car before you put it in the garage..." Is this cool or what?
And, LadyinBlue, Rt 40 is cool but it'll take you a lot longer to get to Maxton's then Rt 70. Take care all. |

diaboli - just so you know, RS_Man is my 23 year-old son car-aholic son who is loving having a really cool mom who occasionally lets him drive her Camaro! So, there is only one IBM 2LT/RS in Dayton so far.
If you want, come on out to the KMart car show across from the Greene on Friday night. If it doesn't rain Merlin and my son and I should be there for a while. We had a blast there last Friday answering folks' questions, and you'd be able to see what yours will look like with the exception of the engine. Please introduce yourself if you do come out so we know who you are. As far as the Zaino is concerned, it's a polymer polish system that has been thoroughly discussed on this forum. As I heard nothing but good things about it I decided to spring for it (not inexpensive.) After just a few coats on Merlin I can honestly tell you it's really worth the money. Easy to apply, easy to take off as well. My son and I washed Merlin, clay-barred him, washed him again, and applied two coats of Z-5 (for dark colors) and one top coat of Z-2 (car show polish) so far. Amazing stuff! See you Friday? |

hey Lady, round about what time friday?
ya know I'm kinda looking forward to crusing a Sonic like, 20 times on a friday night. pulling in and ordering a cherry Dr Pepper and cheese covered onion rings, then crusing the town for the next hour. i'll also be planning some road trips. not the usual "get somewhere" trips. i mean a week long, get the hell away, drive down to Fl, hit the beach for a few days and drive back over a different route. jeesh that sounds GREAT! (I know, I sound freakin corny)

We'll be there about 4:30 pm pretty much in the middle of the lot closest to Dorothy (by the KMart sign).
There are usually a great number of awesome cars to look at; I feel bad that Merlin drew so much attention last Friday. !Not! |

Jennette- last Friday we were there until 8:30 pm as people just kept surrounding us and peppering us with questions. The only reason we left was to get the car home as a tornado watch had been issued. Love to see you there!

diaboli- have a safe trip to Texas and maybe we'll see you soon at K-Mart. It'd be cool to have all the local Camaros -old and new- take up a whole row some day!
