Should change the name of this sub-forum to "Mustang discussion". Judging by the number of Stang guys on here and how sternly they want to be here, the Mustang sites must be terrible.

I view the Mustang as nice but plain on the inside. And yes I've spent time in there poking around. The radio cluster is boring as all heck, and the guages are...fine.

The only points I can give them over the Camaro, honestly, is the rubberized material they covered half the dash with. It's very nice...but I don't fondle my dashboard while driving, and the Camaro's looks lightyears better without compromising usability, imo...so win = Camaro in my book.

The camaro wins on this topic...ive been in the new SS and its a really good looking car on the outside and inside well done by GM on looks

I predict there will be no consensus on which is better. Have driven and spent time in both cars, I'd give the Mustang the edge. Better quality materials used, no doubt.

Anyone know anything about FOAM air filters? I've been doing more research and im seeing that K&N and GREEN alike allow more dirt into the engine in comparison to a paper filter. While they advertize they stop mroe dirt than a regular filter, that is "OVER THE LIFE OF THE FILTER!" he he. Doesn't hurt to read carefully. If you keep it long enough of course it will eventually stop more dirt, so I since found this by AMSOIL..

Its not an oiled cotton filter, nor is it paper. This is made of foam...

Does anyone have any experience with AMSOIL performance air filters? Or is this more AMSOIL marketing trash?
