Amazing! What kind of maintenance did you do to it? Did you change your plugs at 60k? How was the engine with oil...any usage?
That's great news that you reached 100k, and from the way you sound your car might be able to do another 100k! Edit: I was reading some of the posts. Looks like you had a hard 100k! Its good all the same.

Secondly, I agree with the post above. While warranty is nice, an engine at 40K and heading for the third S/C is not a good thing at all! Glad to hear you had warranty to cover the issues but wow, that is a really bad reliability record which surprises me. Kudos to you though for driving it like it was meant to be driven.

33,333 miles a year at this average since It turns 3 years old next month. I have a hair over that on my 2011 SS lol. I don't feel so bad about it anymore.
Congrats to hitting this mark on your car, it shows you truly enjoy driving it, that is dedication in itself. The phrase "a car is a car" comes to mind, no need to garage queen it. |

The problem with the engine was just unlucky. If other people were experiencing the same problem I'd be concerned. Sometimes shit happens and somebody has to be the unlucky bastard who pulled the short straw. The whole store is here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=334750 The supercharger is another story though. I've expressed my sheer annoyance at GM for how unreliable it is. The first two superchargers squawked then seized up. My new supercharger has the solid isolator in it but has the louder version of the annoying flutter noise. I honestly expect it to die the way it sounds. But even with the problems, I can say the ZL1 is an amazing car. I've driven a lot of cars a lot of miles, I think I added it up once to be around 1.5 million miles give or take, and I can say the ZL1 is easily the greatest car I've driven. Unlike a lot of overly expensive froufrou car, it wants to be driven and the curvier the road the better

Good to know. I put a lot of miles on mine too. 86 miles each way to work for me. I'm very happy I paid for the GMPP warranty to 100k miles now.
