Gill Decal do over.
I did a wet install last night of some gill decals from Auto Trim DESIGN. They look awesome but I noticed some dust / bumps in one of the gills this morning.
Couple of questions: 1) Can i just pull them off if I don't want them anymore? 2) Can I take off the one with the dust and reapply it? 3) If I reorder some can I leave the one with dust under it on until I get the new ones in the mail (2weeks), or is this not good for the paint? Thanks!

dust underneath is no good, bumps will flatten over time. Maybe re-wet and reapply..

If allowed to cure, you may not be able to pull and reapply.

you will have to soak it wet while carefully removing it, otherwise you'll stretch the vinyl and then it's pretty much toast... |

Before & After
I went ahead and pulled it off and reapplied it. The decal stretched at the top but the bumps are gone now.

Those look really good. Best looking gills I've seen, I think. Impressive.

Those look awesome. I'm looking at the different ones on Auto Trim Design, which ones did you get exactly? I have a 2011 CGM on the way, and that looks like something I might want to do.

They are pretty subtle on the CGM but I really love mine. Put them on a few weeks before the Fest.

Looks nice! Those are the ones I wanted and I've sent the company an email about adjusting their cut so that the decals fit more into the corners at the ends. In essence, they seem to square off instead of exact fit. The fade can't be beat and give the best definition of the gills in my opinion. I instead settled with the outline decals which are OK but not as nice as what you have. If I can get those that you and cut them the exact angle of the gill top, I may do that.

Those look like air bubbles. Drive it, give it a couple of weeks and see if they work them selves out. I had Bee Bee repainted after the hit and run before the fest. They fixed her after the fest and I noticed allot of what your picture looks like. 3 weeks latter of Alabama heat they are gone. Body shop said they should go away and they did so give it a shot.
