A 1LE runs mid to high 12's stock. When spring comes I will post a 11 second pass stock.

On drag radials of course it would be likely to hit 11s.

The Z/28 with a drag pack and tuned should net 11s easy with a good driver even though it's not a 1/4 mile car

I am still looking forward to seeing one with a drag pack! Hopefully Stephen will be the first one!

It is a drag strip setup consisting of drag wheels and tires out back, and skinnies up front.

I already sold my skinnies. So, no drag pack on my Z/28, but I will use drag radials instead of the Pirelli Trofeo R's.

Ok I'm getting confused, this has gone from Z/28 with a tune to Z/28 with drag pack to Z/28 stock. So lets get predictions on the times. (1) All stock (2) With a tune & stock tires. (3) All stock with drag tires. (4) tune and drag tires.

I think the comparison with the 1LE was made because of the similarities except for the R compund tires and +75 hp(505hp vs 426hp). If the 1LE can run mid 12s like that with 2.0 60' times, the Z/28 should be able to run high 11s by this logic.

A 1LE may run in the high 12's in ideal air with a well above average driver . . .

but I think 13.1/109 or 13.0/110 is going to be closer to what the 1LE's will more commonly run in a bone stock condition with a more typical driver. With that as a basis for comparison, I'd expect an all stock Z/28 to run 12.4's/115, maybe 12.3/116.

That matches up with the 12.3/116 I posted earlier for an all stock Z/28 using a different method. With a tune, I'm still thinking 12.1/118.

I have no good idea how much drag radials might be worth from those numbers.
