Anyone wish GM would bring back the Chevelle?
Anyone wish they would remake the Chevelle? I'd be interested in seeing a concept.

Only if they really design it - don't just recycle a name like they did with the NUMMI factory's Chevy "Nova"
Or the Buick "Roadmaster" (shudder) |

I like the '70 style the most, if they modeled it after that year it would be so cool

They might. Talk of the G8 coming back in a bowtie. I would not be suprised if they call it a Chevelle

Holden VF Commodore supposedly will be making it stateside for the 2014 model year.
Would be the closest thing to a Chevelle.

I'd like to see them take some of the lines from the 68 - 69 models. They were my favorites.

Yes! Yes! If they make it the same size which is one size up from the Camaro (about the size of a CL 600 coupe, 116" wheel base). I had several friends with SS 396s and some with the sleeper 325hp, 327, no ss markings etc...
I ran the GTOs ('67, 69 ram air III and a '72 smog hog thanks to the greens), same size, body different...It was a nice size for us tall, longer legged folks and four on a trip was not crowded..had trunk room too! I like the Camaro but would jump at a two door just a notch bigger...OH and a hard top while I am wishing... I was hoping they would make a G-8 2dr hardtop but did not happen...could care less about a 4dr version...why I did not buy a G-8 Last edited by Stex; 03-03-2011 at 09:37 PM. |

Yes I would , but not like the Nova. The Chevelles were good cars for their day, I have a 68 now but my favorite is a 66 and 69. My friend had a 70 with the LS6 454, it was powerful. There are many Chevelle fans and it would probally sell good, if they offer 2drs.

Owning 2 Chevelles myself, a 71 SS coupe, and 67 convertible, I say no. The real Chevelle died after the 72 year. Let it rest in peace.

If they bring back the Chevelle they had better do the El Camino too.
I owned a '73 El camino, always wanted a 70-72. With a big block and a 4 speed. |
