I installed the DSE Speed Kit 1 with my DSSV's this summer. Car looks better with the drop. As for the chassis performance, I think I gave up just a touch with the transitions. It's not as settled with quick inputs. But like I said it's a very small negative change. Overall balance is very good, now with the adjustable antiroll bars (ARB), I run full stiff up front and have done both full stiff and the middle hole on the rear ARB. Full stiff on the rear is fun as it is balanced towards oversteer. I found that I could toss it into one of the corners at Pitt Race and it would rotate real nice on entry and would settle near center for a point and shoot exit.

Someone with more skill than I could pick out more differences, but I actually think the car is more fun to drive with the DSE kit, on the street and track. Throughout the summer I backed my front camber down in an effort to find a happy medium between the street and track tire abuse. While doing that I did run a new personal best with this new setup, so it's close. It does ride a touch softer, but the DSSV's still show their hand with certain road conditions.

Thanks for the update cdb.
Few questions, back in the beginning, you ran 12mm spacers on your 20" wheels. Why? Any improvements? Which ones?

I still run the 12mm spacers front and back with my 20"s. With my track camber (-2.7) the 12mm spacer works good, the tire does not poke. If you would have less negative camber, the 12mm spacer may start to make the front tires poke a bit.

I run the spacers on my OE 20" because it looks better. I can't say there is any improvement, if there is it is very minor. I have a pair of spacers from www.renickperformance.com and I also have a pair from www.motorsport-tech.com. The Rennicks are a little bit nicer as they are black anodized.
