There are not enough rooms left there for a group. They have been selling normally at the lower rates and almost gone.

If you change your dates to 6 through 9 it comes up like this. Then call and add the 5th.

Marriott CY is sold out. Any other options for hotels in the immediate area?

For LS Fest, we stayed at the Drury Inn. It was nice. They have breakfast and an evening kickback with drinks and hot snacks starting at 5:30.

SSweetride,
you might want to check out this place. Breakfast is included!

Yes, this is a good one that was suggested to me. There is also a brand new Fairmont hotel opening up just down the road by the mall in March. We will definitely be booking there as well.

Holiday Inn Express is another good one.

Probably not a lot going to happen until after the holidays. Plenty of hotels in the area so it shouldn't be a huge problem.

Yeah, this shit is crazy... but I love it.

I do now that the Marriott will probably open some more rooms in a couple months. They had a wedding group block that they don't expect to sell out.

They're not used to hearing "hey I'd like to sign a contract for 200 rooms" then 24hrs later they are all booked. Easy money for them.

Believe it or not but the Motel 8, down at Exit 28, which is cross the road from the Corvette Musuem, isn't bad at all.
Also there is a new hotel being built down town that will be nice, but have not heard the completion date for that one. It will be close as far as the timing of the opening and our Cfest.
The Holiday Inn Express out by Exit 22 was just remodeled and should be nice. This is the main drag and the exit for our host hotel. Located maybe 2 miles away.
