WTF!! Long time muscle car track going Import

If anyone from FL has been to the track in Lakeland, they are giving us " "muscle cars" "V8's" the boot! For the longest I've been around this track has been available for my dad when he was young. Now Ive heard from more than two people that it is gonna be an Import track only!!! Well to those who's been there with a V8 they just slapped us in the face. This really sucks!!!

I don't understand. Are you saying that you can't race a domestic car at the track?

Which track is it? I think this needs some clarification. Let's get them on the phone and find out what is going on here. If the rumor is true, then an explanation would be helpful. I have trouble believing that any business would refuse business to people who would eagerly pay to participate in the business, especially when performance V8 drivers have more money on average than the average tuner and could thus go to the track more frequently.

Tracks have import nights all over the country. They must have a large import crowd to hold one every week.

Calm down, it's called an "Import Night" Firebird raceway here in Phoenix does the same thing once a week. It's to keep all the "Fast and Furious" kids safe...

Take a gander at some of the cars that show up to those races, the Supra's are allot of fun to watch.

I can fully understand an import night, but on a Saturday? Wouldn't you want to bring in all kinds of vehicles on the weekends to bring in the most profit to the track?

Eh to each their own.

Saturday should be everyone's night. Import night should be a night where there's a low turnout to attract more cars to the track. Taking a night that more people show up and making it an exclusive event reduces track-paying admission. Some people don't know how to run a business.

That sucks! Must be more 4's and 6's down there than 8's. Come to Pa we drag race everything from ATV's to sprint cars to jets.
