Guess what I am wondering is, (and please forgive me, I dont know a lot about cars, trying to learn) are the HID Lamps something I can buy and replace the factory Headlamps with. I have had to replace in other cars from someone backing into it and a tree branch falling on a different one. Or is chevy going to design it where only that package will be able to fit those lamps.

HID require a balast and special voltage requirements don't they? Might take more than simply replacing the lamps and may not be at all possible if the wiring isn't already in place.

Yeah same here! 29k is my max for maxed out V6, it it turns out to be more I am going to do some serious thinking about what to get... I am confident GM will price it maxed out (well before GM performance accessories) over 30k since this is not a "luxury car", that would just be silly. Sry for going off-topic (pricing) just wanted to say that real fast lol. Oh and auto for me as well!

Hmm is it safe to assume the "convience and connections" package is the same as bluetooth, steering controls, and usb?

HID do reqiure a ballest and most likely a "Step-Up Voltage Transformer" depending on the actual voltage required which off hand I do not know... but its safe to say when done from factory they will most likely use a special wiring harness for lamps... expect its not cheap... Guess $400 -$800 Option

Thats the news I want...I'll be getting the SS2/RS with the optional polished wheels! That just made my day! Not happy about the park assist though. That looks like hell.

Rear park assist us standard? I thought this want coming out till late next year? That can't be the complete list of standard options. CD isn't standard? Power windows, locks?
