Go figure, right? But it's not an unwelcome achievment.

Chevy Volt Commercial

Check 'er out! This is the best thing for the American Car companies(specifically GM), since Ford's assembly line. |

I've said it before and I will say it again, The General is ready for war! Company T and company H can play all they want, but when push comes to shove General Motors ends up on top

It would be awesome if it was something like the commercial for the cobalt with the corvette like it was its "little brother" or something. ya know. I always think cars as people so i always liked that commercial.

is that commercial on YouTube? I've never seen it - and I want too.
EDIT: Never mind...I found three different ones  I have no favorite, they're both great! |

Yeah, some commercials as ingenious as that for the Camaro would be nice. Though not with the 'cuteness' of course. |

I'd like some discussion on this... but what intrests me most, is the door handle...uh, look familiar to anybody? Maybe it's not such an unpractical thing after all... As for the video...I thought elecric cars were supposed to be quiet...but hearing those motors revving - at such low speeds too, I could get used to that |

The noise you hear is likely coming from the gearbox. An electric motor on its own makes esentially no sound. However, gears meshing together do. And the faster they move, the more noise they make. Thats only a guess though, they haven't taught me much about electric motors yet. I guess that will happen in electro-mechanical energy conversions next semester.

My guess is that this is a very crude setup.

Maybe it'll help GM's image. The environmentalists really got pissed at GM over canceling its EV1.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, or if it's already been discussed somewhere else, but those windows are a little... different.
I can't decide if I like the design or not. Either way, it doesn't look they can roll down at all. That being said, once I get my Camaro, I may have to trade in my economy car (Corolla) for a Volt! I definitely would not want to own the first release on that though. Maybe not even the first generation. |

i think the purpose of the windows like that is so that it keeps the body's lines but also keeps the windows large so that it is an open airy feel inside.
