Looking for recommended shop in Michigan for heater core replacement
Hey all,
I need the heater core replaced in my 2011 SS, and while I normally do all of the work on my cars I just don't have the time these days to get into something this in depth. Way too busy at work and at home to try to fit this in. Car has 55k miles, out of warranty. So I'm looking for recommendations on a shop in Michigan that can do the job, and do it RIGHT. I'm VERY, VERY, VERY picky. Let me say that up front. VERY picky. I have no problem gladly paying for a shop to do this, but it has to be done perfect, no indications that the entire dash has been out. I'm in Traverse City, but I travel for work and have no issue trailering the car anywhere in the state to the right shop and leaving it for the work to be done. Any suggestions? Thanks, johnny |

Thanks, Mike! That's a great idea that I didn't think of. Sent Becky an E-mail to see what they think.

Hey all,
I wanted to follow up on this so people will know how my experience went. I made contact with Becky at Rodgers and she put me in touch with Gerry Mroz, the Service Director at Rodgers Chevrolet. I can't say enough goods things about Gerry and the crew at Rodgers! I brought my car down in an enclosed trailer and left it for them to do the heater core. While it was apart I had them replace the dash and front dash speaker grill. Work was done when Gerry said it would be and definitely to a very, very high standard. They stored my car inside (without my even asking them too) and when I came down to pick it up it was clean and ready. No finger prints, so squeaks, no rattles, no issues. I've put a thousand miles on it since I picked it up and it's still tight as a drum. Highly, HIGHLY recommended!! I'll be bringing it back to them when I'm ready for my Recaro upgrade. |

Now you understand why we reccomend Rodgers Chevrolet.
I could tell you many stories of how Rodgers has gone far beyond and above for us. It's well worth the trip to have the work done by them. |
