My paint shop does them! Let me know, we can ship them in any color. They take 3 steps to ensure that the paint stays on the proper way.
We can ship them for $189...when you return your original antenna, you get a credit of $50.00. So the net price is $139.00!

Great idea. I like the way it hides the antenna better. Two questions though:
1. Did it affect reception at all?
2. Can you post instructions and photos on how to remove and replace it?

No reception problems at all. I'll get intructions posted, but basically, it is an easy DIY install, most dealers probabaly would charge about a 1/2 hour labor.

Looks great. Any chance of doing a run of taillight bezels? I know a lot of people would probably jump on them if painted in a semi-gloss black instead of the factory chrome.

The paint unfortunately would not last being over the chrome finish of the tailight bezel.

The XM antenna takes a 3 step process to ensure that the paint will endure.
Buicks and Cadillacs have them from the factory, it gives the car a great "finished" look.
We can do them in any Camaro color!

The tail light bezels could be painted easily with the correct adhesion promoter. I will be painting mine when i get my car and i have a few customers that will be doing there's also.

Just got back from the dealer meeting and saw the Camaro convertible. HOT HOT HOT The best part was the onstar/xm antenna, trunk mounted, was body colored in red jewell. Looks great, and your's can too. Send me a PM if you need more info.

The full instructions are sent with the antenna, basically the headliner is loosened, and from the inside rear, one securing bolt for the antenna is removed, and two connectors.
The reverse operation to re-install. Its really quite simple.
