2013 ZL1 question

Will all Chevrolet dealers be allocated zl1"s for the 2013 model year? and in which month do they order the 2013's? My dealer wasnt allocated any for the 2012"s so im going to wait for the 2013 model year. the dealer i have been going to for the past 11 years treats me very good and was very dissapointed he did not get one for 2012.

Given the demand and that half the model year will be over by the time this one is being built...it's not surprising that a few dealers didn't get one...:(

MY's typically switch over in the middle of summer for the Camaro. With ordering for the next model opened in April...hope that helps.

True - but I'm strictly wanting the Coupe only - convertibles mess up my hair too much

Hoping the 2013 will have some extras added too - at least then I'll feel like the extra wait was worth it!

That is a good question. I doubt that anyone outside of GM knows the answer to that question at this point.

According to the 2012 ZL1 Coupe Estimated Production Guide, allocations for 2013 ZL1s will be issued in Q2 2012, and 2013 ZL1 Convertible production will begin in late Q2 (read June) 2012. I expect that ordering for the 2013 ZL1s will begin shortly after 2013 ZL1 allocations are released (as was the case for the 2012 ZL1 Coupes) in Q2 2012.

That stinks that you have to wait, but hopefully a few more months won't be too much ZL1 should definately be worth it
