You kind of answered your own question. They don't want to mention HUD so those who are not in the know will buy now and not wait. Sort of like the Goat, if the majority of the people who purchased the first year with the LS1 knew the next year would have a 400hp LS2, they would have waited also.

Sorry... I've heard of HDs in cars. I meant, I haven't heard of one being available in the Camaro.

You are allowed to discuss it - and provide customers with information from it...but you are not to distribute the original pdf - this is stated from our download page where we get this from....

It's not a salesperson at risk - it's the dealership.....one that tends to walk a fine line with GM.

Exactly.

Poor rear visibility isn't even much of an issue in a coupe anyway. If it was large vehicle in which a lot of visual aid would be necessary to back up, I could understand the complaint. However, in a car this size people should just be able to "feel" exactly where their car is.

I wonder why it's not to be distributed, considering it contains nothing we didn't already know.

Cheers for the info!

The Camaro on page 3 is idd the Concept one. There are pix in the forum showing an SS, and the PDF one isn't an SS. Strange though, why would they use the Concept and label it as an SS...

"Download" means transfer and not necessarily storing. An HDD would be nice ofc, but I 'm glad for the uber USB as it is.

Would love to see some interior pix with coloring options soon. I wanna see the "Inferno Orange Interior" package. It 's the only one that adds colored stitching to many things. Should be rly nice idd.

It's nothing we didn't know already...(for the most part.)

But it's ALWAYS nice to see something come up and try to get us even more excited then before. Can't wait!

The problem with that idea is some socialist nanny in the government will see a car with this feature and get the bright idea that they can look like a great politician by getting a LAW passed REQUIRING every car to have one of these things.

So, in a couple years we'll all be bitchin' because the 2020 Camaro tips the scales at 5,000 pounds.

I got nothing else against the feature except for the fact it ruins the look of the rear bumper and somehow trumped the HUD in the packet.
