i am intersted in this...my bro has a 99cobra vert and he always says it would be close...i think my ls3 would walk him well ( hf cats CAI ww scoop)...he doesnt live near me, or this wouldve been setled a long time ago, lol.

When you line up and you see him purge his N02, you better be on your toes. 2nd yellow, hammer down and don't let up. If he is really running 13.0X's, he's got more than a tune.

A stock 96-98 Cobra that runs mid 13's is VERY rare - especially a heavier convertible like the one pictured in the OP's first post. The vast majority were high 13 to low 14 second cars. A 'tune' would help a little, but not much.
Gears, tires, and exhaust....different story there. |

Its a vert, so its even heavier than the coupes, that I think you could beat.
I think you got it. Now the 99s and up can be a different story, im bone stock (paper filter even). I had a 99 cobra keep up with me all the way to 120 |
