wow this is like bounds beyond a stock v8!
didn't know 3 psi more boost would make that much of a difference. shouldn't this be able to easily out-accelerate a stock v8? |

well we will put it in crank numbers so its easier to compare and I don't piss any ss guys off. Ss comes stock at the crank at 426. At the crank I am around 537 at the crank. But wheel HP is alot different then crank HP.

yeah he posted two vids in a thread below this
honestly can someone help me out here. Would it be cheaper to get the universal kit and bring it to a shop who has turbo experience to do it or would it be cheaper to get the specific kit. STS gives the details to their Camaro kit and im pretty sure you can get all the same parts in the universal kit

Do not get universal kit. Its bad news. The shop that did mine put on on a rx8 and it took them forever if you buy it you still have to buy all the rest of parts the other ki

Extreme motors installed the turbo. Majestic motor sports installed the meth kit and dyno tuned.

The LLT is a very different animal when it comes to FI and dealing with the crankcase pressure issue. Those that have our system know this first hand and it still appears we are the only true working solution on the market for boosted LLT DI motors. There are a ton of issues caused by it and all are working aginst the motor & the power produced (and a list of other issues such as oil leaks, etc.).
As for the fuel delivery, most DI pumps we can source that have the extra PSI we need (the LLT pump produces around 2600-2800 max and we need 3600 to provide for safe 500 rwhp) are rotary and the LLT pump is a plunger type that runs off of a lobe on the drivers side outer camshaft (exhaust cam) and Audi is one of the few with this plunger design. We do have a system that will do all we need about 1/2 way ready for testing but were still a couple months away from releasing it. I will post up more when were closer with the results. |
