So....... I have a regular customer that just bought a 2013 M5 & M6 BMW's about a month ago.

He comes in today to have some work done to them and he instantly starts talking about the Car and Driver Lighting lap and how well they did. I sorta chuckled and took him outside and then introduced him to my 1LE. Then I pulled up the lap times on the internet and showed him where his cars ranked against my SS that cost 1/4 of what each of his did. He just stood there with a dumbfounded look on his face.... WINNING!!! Im now sitting at home laughing about it. Just thought I would share my story...

BMW M6 3.04.7
BMW M5 3.05.2

My nephew sells bmws part time, sold many m5 and m6 and was dumbfounded on how a 1le could beat them on a track.

Yeah that great news, long live 1LE, the cars are ok,i would never have one,but the people who drive them......sigh!

My brother in law has a 335i with the twin turbo V-6. It looks nice but I haven't had a chance to ride in it. I really want to talk trash but I don't want to be that one-upper guy. Plus I don't have mine yet.

My wife has 2007 328i. It's a head ache. A bunch of stupid issues on that car.

My brother just got a 2012 328i, and although it's only a Turbo 4, it is a fast car, I will give it that and a great ride. I can only imagine the drive and features of the M5 and M6, I drove an M3 before I got my 1LE and it was lacking the new interior so it was not an option, but amazing cars nonetheless.

If you can afford it, you can't compare the cars, they serve completely different purposes than the 1LE.

i have a 328i nothing really crazy, its my DD. it handles and feels better on the road over my mothers CTS, and my camaro.

its my first BMW, and i can see why people get them.

I hate on people with BMWs because 99 out of a 100 along with Mercedes and Lexus drivers believe they own the road because of their "status" cars. You don't know how many times I've been cut off by one of those 3 because most of them all feel they earn the right to the road over everyone else.
