track day at the Ridge

For anyone interested in some track time at the Ridge motorsport park, NASA are having HPDE (high performance driving event) on june 1st & 2nd This is an amazing way to learn to drive you car with an instructor at your own pace. I was at pacific raceways this last weekend for same event and it was an incredible 2 days. Put down over 100 laps. My camaro is 100% stock and was VERY completive in stock trim. If you want to get involved in racing or spending time at the track NASA are new to the pacific NW and the events they put on are going to be amazing for us out here. This is the website for NASA pacific NW http://www.nasanorthwest.com/
If you want to sign up for the 2 days at the ridge go here http://www.nasaproracing.com/event/1639
It is a bit of money but for me was worth every cent.

Another cool thing, “Head on photos” are at the track and take pictures of all the cars that you can view online and purchase afterwards. Here are mine from last weekend http://headonphotos.net/gallery/nasa/NASANW13-1/HPDE/u/u%20camaro/index3.html

I cant say enough about how much fun this was and how cool the other people at the track were and the organizers and NASA are. It is a totally controlled environment, If youve never driven on a track b4 they will group you with others of similar experience until your ready to move up to a higher level.

Anyway just thought id let you all no about this.

Looks like fun I've been wanting to do an event like this to really learn how to drive my car on the track.

NASA seem to have a lot more events that aren't wheel to wheel racing so you don't have to have a fully prepped car with roll cages etc. Just lots more track time for improving your skills.

http://www.turn2lapping.com/calendar.html seems pretty cool. Between the two looks like you could get A LOT of track time in... as much as you could afford that is...

And then there is Hooked on Driving...

Bah being passed by a Ford Focus is about as bad as owning an automatic v6 automobile.

(FYI, this is in jest ok)

We've talked about doing this. Nice to know that husband/wife team can share the experience.
Would be cool to have all us Synergy's on the track at the same time
