CamaroZ28 Podcast / ZL1 Media drive

I just wanted to share this with all you ZL1 fanatics around here. Chris Frezza, whom I mentioned in my long-a$$ writeup on the car, shares some unique perspectives on the car in this weeks' installment.

It turned out really well, kudos to the two of them for doing such a great job, Enjoy!

Not likely. There were no pictures of him from the VIR drive...I don't think he exists.

Seriously, though....I liked how Chris described the car - you can tell he REALLY liked it, too. And his take on driving a road course, as a drag racer.

Yes,I noticed that part about him really liking the road course.
I had the chance to do the same when the C6 Corvette's first came out in '04,they had a "Ride and drive" for us dealer employee's at various tracks around the country,I chose to go to Atlanta Motor Speedway where they had a road course set-up in the middle,it was a lot of fun,and I learned a great deal about not only the Corvette, but also got a few tips on how to road race from the professional drivers GM had on hand!

I have to say that for me, as a European, drag racing means very little.
Race tracks or even rallying are EVERYthing.
I've been with MTI to Little Talladega and Roebling Raceway Track days.
They were a Blast.

20 minutes of non-stop driving as hard as you can beats a few seconds on a drag strip any day IMHO

Can't wait to get the ZL1 on the track. Hoping to have a chance on AMP when it opens.

There are so many "that's what she said" jokes in here about 20 minutes vs a few seconds I just couldn't be bothered
