INSTALLED Flowmaster 409S American Thunder System : ) - Part #817481
At last! Flowmaster has released a kit for the SS! I know there are other threads on this... here is the link to save you guys some time...

I agree that this system is an awesome setup...It is a great sound and a great quality.
I ordered a bunch of them....and I must say I am jealous that yours is almost there. I expect mine to show up this week, but WOW monday would be awesome!! Have fun with it!! |

Mine come in yesterday...............can't get to the shop til sometime this week though damnit.
Interested to see how it sounds with the Roto-Fab CAI and Doug Thorley shorties.......... I'll get a vid of mine once we get it in too.

Dont know about the HP increase YET.... BUT I did do a dyno run 100% stock! : )
As soon as I get a chance I'll get another run on the dyno so we'll all know |

It's here!
As promised... Got this installed this afternoon!
So. A few pics and a vid of course!   Finishing touches...  And a close up...  And last but not least the vid! So far so good. I love the deep sound this full 3inch catback system makes. On the highway at 70 its as quite as stock but between gears it gives you the great Flowmaster sound. While slowing down or down shifting you get a nice little burble out of this big beast of an LS3. Thanks American Racing Technology for the install! |

Thanks for sharing, sounds good. How do you like it? how do you think this will sound for the L99 (auto)? im going to be ordering it soon. Do the tips noticeably stick out? more than the stock tips? id rather them be flush. Is it worth buying?
