The F1-X flows a lot more CFM. See chart below.

Doesn't the F1-X require you to cut things? Id rather just slap a F1-C in there and be done with it. Both capable of 1000+hp if need be

Do the F3!!! That or the new procharger that has a variable drive ratio, that'd be a great option for ya.

I look forward to seeing your monstrous build, Bull. I'd love to go TT but it brings up the same problem. I wouldn't be able to run big enough turbos on a stock ls3, so when i do the motor I would have to buy new turbos thus going back to my dilemma. Why pay for a system twice when you can just go big the first time, that's why ill just stick with the F1-C.

You should get one of these: http://www.procharger.com/i-1supercharger.shtml

That would do everything you need now, and everything you want later.

if the end result is one that uses the F1 then buy the F1 and spend your money once!

You can detune the F1 to live with an LS3 (its been done). But going with a bigger motor later means you need to buy a new Procharger if you go P/D1 now.

Look up Steve Morris racing engines - he specializes in procharger builds

Sure you would. You could do twin 62s or so. Make 600-700rwhp on low boost, then when you want 1000-1200 just turn it up. No belt slip, no upgraded cog/10-ribs, no headers. Just do turbos and be done with it.

Just out of curiosity, are you talking about the GT3586R turbos from the IPS kit? Because I see people running them on the big boy motors but not on the ls3.

Nope but those would work. The AGP turbo car I drove spooled the twin 56mms at 1800rpms or so. It was crazy how quick boost came on. Those turbos will support 850-900rwhp easy enough. Larger ones may not hit full boost until 2500-3000 depending on how big you go, but even then that isn't an issue. That was all on a stock l99. A 6.2L is more than enough motor to spool up big turbos.

I started with a F1A on my LS3 and it worked great but when I switched to the 427 LSX it didn't have enough volume. Procharger will let you upgrade their superchargers for essentially the cost difference between the two models. I am now running the F1C and getting about 13 lbs of boost with Prochargers smallest pulley. You will have to beat the wheel well in a little at the bottom to get the F1C to fit but otherwise it fits fine. The R requires some cutting and the X requires even more cutting. I made 784 at the rear wheels, through an automatic (4L80), with several degrees of timing pulled for my nitrous. So breaking 800 rear wheel is not a problem.

All in all the combination is extremely driveable and I can run it on straight pump gas.
