not sure about the stabili-trak issue but the with the skip-shift, you installed it in the wrong solenoid. Its on the drivers side shown in the picture. This is the correct solenoid:

When you have a custom tune done you should have them remove the skip shift in the actual tune. Works like a charm!

Can't you just disable the skip-shift w/ the diablo???

Why even bother getting a skipshift eliminator? Its really not intrusive at all. Just give it slightly more gas and the skipshift light goes away and smoothly shift to second.

I've had zero issues with my SLP Skip Shift Eliminator. It's just a resistor inside an OEM style connector so maybe it's a bad resistor or maybe one of the legs of the resistor broke off. Sounds like a rare case to me.

I have the same setup and no issues as of yet. Post something on the Diablo boards they might be able to address it?

Edit: Right now the Diablo doesn't touch the transmission I thought. It was coming soon last I read.

THE OP PLUGGED INTO THE REVERSE SELONOID. Common mistake b/c the plug is right there staring you in the face. Unles syou know, you would be like... oh thats it. Its not. The skip shift plug is hidden on top of the tranny. Go plug it into the right plug.

The SLP sse works like a charm and to anyone who says the 1-4 is not that bad is full o` crap. Its stupid and only comes on at the most inopportune times!

after a tune, you need to disconnect the battery for a bit. this will reset the ECU / PCM

I agree, it sounds like you put it in the wrong place. If you put it in the one easily accessable on the side of tranny and not the cramped one at the very top of the tranny you definitely put it in the wrong spot and that is what is causing your hard to get into reverse problem.

Just took a big crap so I'm not full of it, and it's not that bad. First couple of days it was a little annoying but in the last 3k miles it has engaged maybe 1 or 2 times. You can shift to 3rd instead of 4th and not lug the motor as bad when it does come on.
