Hate to say it
I really do hate to say this, but I personally do feel the Mustang has a better stripe package by far than the Camaro
 . When I see the Camaro it only has stripes on its hood and it's trunk. GM doesn't bother extend the stripes to even the beginning of the bumper. To me I believe this is rather poor by GM IMO. I will NEVER choose a Mustang over a Camaro at all , but the stripes are just not a good look. Looks cheap to me. I would personally like them to extend the stripes from the hood to the bumper and have them painted on at the factory.. If someone wants to buy a car off the lot and choose to put the stripes on then it can be vinyl, otherwise allow it to be painted on. It looks so much better this way.

I prefer the camaro's stripes. I dont like stripes than go all the way down the bumper and the no stripe on the roof looks cleaner to me.

That's tradition for you. Look back at the first gen camaros and mustangs, and you'll see the same pattern. People who put the mustang style stripes on a camaro are going to the "dark side" in my opinion. It just doesn't look right to me.

The current stripes on the Camaro are a matter of heritage. The original Gen 1 Camaro Rally Stripes were only on the hood and truck…never on the roof. If it wasn’t for heritage, we would not even have this car!

There are many vendors on Camaro5 and eBay that do custom vinyl. There are many shops that do custom paint jobs as well. If you can dream it and afford it, they can do it.

I couldn't disagree with you more. I love the way the factory stripes look. Stripes on the roof and all the way down the front and rear are a stang thing (yes I know the pace car has them).
