I have in my uncle's Corvette, and I liked it there, and I definitely see it's advantages, but I kinda like the almost feel of a manual with the G8, and the ability to just slip it into sport mode and then back is nice.

I'm so obscenely torn between the two that it's not even funny. I still have a few years to decide though, and hopefully GM won't have to help my decision by killing the G8.

When I used it in the G8...it seemed almost clunky, and unnatural to me compared to the paddles...I was curious if you'd been able to compare the two systems.

From what I saw on a quick headline looks like GM is dropping pontiac.. man that sucks. that GXP is so nice.

yea its official. According to left lane news there are going to be heavy incentives to get rid of G8's. IF by some grace of god I can get the money by the end of this year I think I will take advantage and get my hands on one before its gone forever.

I wouldn't count the G8 platform out just yet, it just may be a different brand with a different nameplate. Just a thought!

Its been announced by Fritz that NO Pontiac models will move to other brands. Which SUCKS but its their move. As for Saturn, it was also just announced today that they are dead by the end of '09.
