I use a 24' with cabinets in the front, but I don't use tire straps, cluster hooks are easier. I have about 4 feet in front of the car, so it's more than enough. Pit bikes fit in the truck, no need for a cart.

Not gonna get a tool box in unless its narrow and fits between side wall and the cart. I only have like 4 inches between the cart and car. I use it for mine for my 67 Camaro drag car and I have about 18" between the car and cart.

In the back I just loop axle straps around the lca's and then attach the strap to that.
In the front I have a tow hook mounted to the chassis I that's on the center of the car but before that I would put a hook inside a hole located in the frame rail. There are a few. The also make a specific tow strap that mounts in those holes: |

I still have stock LCA's and has hooking to them, I was shocked how much they twist when tightening the straps.

Don't hook anything to them directly. You need to use an axle strap that will go around those components. I've been doing it this way for 4 years with no issues.

I just thought that it was telling me to buy aftermarket LCA's.
