I take it this drop affects both models(V6/V8), or only V8(lower than the V6 already)?

I installed eibach lowering springs on my SS. My specs are all in the green now and with the settings they said I should see little to no wear more than before but anyways....
Left Front Camber: -0.7 Right Front Camber: -0.9 Left Front Caster: 6.0 Right Front Caster: 6.1 Left Front Toe:0.02 Right Front Toe: 0.06 Front Total Toe: 0.08 Steer Ahead: -0.02 Left Rear Camber: -0.9 Right Rear Camber: -1.0 Left Rear Toe: 0.05 Right Rear Toe: 0.12 Total Toe: 0.18 Thrust Angle -0.03 It came with a warranty. They did mention they got it as close to stock allignment specs as possible which I dont know if that is standard practice but the Eibach did not come with any preferred settings so...... It drives better than stock so as long as my tires done eat up I guess ill be satisfied.

There was no issue with the length of the BMR trailing arms! They were exacly the same length as the stock ones!
The trailing arms had to be shorter to pull the tire forward and in. I am running pretty low. I already had the BMR arms and they were much better suited to a modification compared to the stock ones. The trailing arm is almost 35 degrees in its angle. So if it is shorter two things happen....... The tire to moves forward to the center of the wheel well and also in to improve the ability to achieve a more positive camber. They custom made me a new set for this purpose since I sectioned mine. The pic below is of the modified arm installed. The new purpose built arm will be installed soon. It is shown below with the new toe links |

Read your own post #10! Not putting words in your mouth - would Never do that.
I think you owe BMR an apology. Let's keep it professional. Mike, Thanks for your edit

I bought the Pedders alignment bolt kit and the price was not to bad when I bought the Drag bushing kit. I wanted the other bushings for the subframe and diff any way.
If you are running low (2.5 inches or so) you need more adjustment than stock. This is what I found on my car. Both toe and camber are hard to get to the recommended specs. (-.5 camber zero toe for me.) Even with the Pedders alinment bolts I was maxed out on the toe and camber adjusters. Now if you want to run - 1.0 to -1.3 degree camber then you may be OK. IMO if you have the shorter BMR trailing arms and the adjustable toe links then you can keep the stock alignment bolts no problem. I installed these today and I am aligning the car now.... Pics later. |

I am lowered just one inch all around with my Eibach springs and bars. I also have BMR rear trailing arms. Even with just one inch drop I needed an alignment and I was able to align with stock eccentrics no problem. My technition told me I was about to the limit using factory travel limits. So, if you do a larger than 1 inch spring drop you will need additional help to align. Also, as a side, my technition asked me to sit in the driver seat while he set the alignment specs with me in the car. Just a little something extra I have not heard of before my alignment. Car looks and drives much better as you might expect.

I plan on installing my Pedders coilovers next week with a 1.5" drop. I'm confused, I hear some say I'll be fine without the alignment kit...is this true?

Front: camber: -1.0 each caster, add 1.0 to 1.25 with our front align kit toe at .1 toe out each wheel Rear -.5 camber each wheel .05 toe in each wheel. You cannot get the addiitional caster without our front kit, nor can you get to -.5 rear camber without them Now you can get the car to within factory specs. But that does not mean it is the opportune alignment mike dms mike dms |

So what is the best specs for to keep tire ware to a minimum (no uneven tire ware)? factory specs? Going to be dropping my car to around 1.25-1.50 inchs, so do i need the alignment kit?

I'm not totally useless..

This is called "weighting". It is how all performance alignments should be done, IMHO. And is how I did them all when I was wrenching. I will have mine done this way if I ever get my damn CO's. Not gonna say names but you know who you are
