Hey all, I am wonderig who here has the darkest tint EVER. It can be double or triple layerd if you have, let me know of your darkest tint and what brand of tint you got. I would love to see some tinted windsheilds also. If you have a hud does it still project right?

I had 2% tint on my 81 Z28 and it had T-Tops and you could not see in the car at all.

every car i ever had has had 2 layers of 2% or limo tint as they call it on "ALL" the windows with the exception of the front winsheild..and the windows rarely come down only if there is a cop near by...

obviously you either live in a state with no tint laws (and I can't believe there is one that doesn't) or your state has no annual safety inspection required or know someone that will break the law and give you the inspection certificate/sticker anyway. I guess more power to ya.......I just hope an officer never pulls up next to you on the road....as you are just ASKING to get pulled over and searched from top to bottom.

there is tint laws in Cali. and there is no annual inspection, never heard of that

..cops have pulled me over and the ticket is $25

and its against the law to search your vechicle without a warrant or probbable cause

Probbable cause is pretty easy to get around... did you smell that?

If you tint your windshield the HUD shows up brighter. I tinted my entire windshield 50% and the HUD shows up better than ever.

What brand is your 2% tint and where did you get it applied. I want to tint my car with the darkest tint available. I also want 20% or darker on the windsheild. This is not my daily driver. It is just a daytime cruising car.
