Webasto sunroof

Just left the local Caddy dealer, and they are installing a Webasto Hollandia 700 sunroof. $980 plus tax. The 3rd Camaro they have done in the past week. Sure beats trying to trade it in to get a new one with the factory roof. That would have cost 6 grand difference. Looks just like it came from the factory.

I don't know how to post pictures here, but I have seen one done, (Mine is not yet), and it looks just fine. Only loose about 3/4 inch of headroom.
Someone posted a video on this site some time ago, and it looks as good as the factory one. If you google 2010 Camaro sunroof, you can see it. Comes with a lifetime parts warranty.

I also had the dealer install a sunroof... looks awesome. They did a great job. We payed an even grand but dealer was saying its normally 1500. Either way im very happy with it. Ill upload a pic shortly.

Just want to clarify that it was an aftermarket GM approved company not the dealership.

I may be wrong, but I believe it opens further than the factory one.

By a Mile and a half, the entire solid window door sliding into the roof is very nice.

Ah well, not everyone is as short as I am I guess (5'10", tons of space in the car with the factory sunroof), I would sacrifice a few more inches of headroom in a heartbeat for something like that from the factory.

I get mine back Wednesday, but the dealer says it only takes 3/4 inch. I can drop the seat that much.

Looks sharp. I like how it goes into the car... I'm not a huge fan of how mine sticks out over the top of the car.
