yep, most likely a broken output shaft. If you are planning to claim warranty, I suggest cleaning up your post here.

Send a message via MSN to Scott@Bjorn3D
Going to the track voids your warranty.

Unless GM specifically made a car that has a special launch mode / competative racing mode features that seem to have been meant for....

.....wait for it....

.....RACING!

Yeah. Again, I'm sure GM would be happy to fix it...lol

This is about the stupidest "rule" I've ever heard. Not "your" comment, Scott. Not at all. The "fine print." I mean....ok. We just won't get on our musclecars EVER. But, if we do, to make sure it stays under warranty, we'll make sure we DON'T do it at the safest place EVER....the TRACK. We'll just do it out there on city roads where our families are driving around so we can all stay "under warranty."

Let me ask...

WHO here has actually gotten a call from GM to have their drive shafts fixed?

Couldn't agree with you more on this one.

Good to hear the OP is getting it fixed. Makes me want to go to the track SOON (even moreso) to see if I have one of the weak driveshafts.
