Or does anybody have any input/feedback on them? I'm thinkin about ARH LT with the comp series or Kooks LT with the comp series. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx

Magnaflow comp series axle back is a muffler delete (no mufflers - just pipes with tips on the end). It will sound OK all by itself. But if you later add
ARH Long tube Headers it will be ridiculously LOUD (way too loud for most people).

A number of guys that went with muffler delete ended up buying a quality catback exhaust after adding long tube headers. They had no idea how LOUD their muffler delete setup would get after adding long tubes. Trust me, its LOUD (cops hear you coming from miles away when your running wide open).

Thanx 4 all the feedback guys. I didn't expect to get this many posts. I have got lots of decisions to make. Finding the right exhaust is a major pain in the ass!!!

times 2 here bro! I did exactly what you mentioned. I installed the Magnaflow comp and after a couple mounts decided to go with LT's...idle is great, low throttle sounds awesome, wide open and you cannot hear yourself think! So now I am going back to the stock cans to see how that sounds with LT's and if not loud enough then I will search to find the optimal combo again....

Thing to note is that pre LT's, the sound was awesome with lots of complements and WOT was great too....if you plan to stay with the factory exhaust manifolds, CATS, and two resonators, the loudness of the sound will not be bad.

Way too loud? no it's not, I'm getting headers to make it louder. Drone? I don't have any. I really don't know what you are talking about.

Anyways, to the OP. I love the exhaust, i like the 5 inch tips and the sound is very deep and can get pretty loud...just not loud enough for me.

It's sweet when that you start up the car that it barks at you

Rice? no. In my opinion this exhaust kit sounds more like American muscle then the rest of them out there.

You want rice? get a fart can or useless wings.

Here is the link to the video of my car with the Magnaflow comp series axle back.

This is what a ricer sounds like.

I honestly do not hear a similarity between them.

The axleback Comp system on an L99 car is goinig to be a lot queiter than on the LS3. The L99 has that extra mid-resenator to keep it quiet.

That's what I want, louder the better, my two other Camaro's have Super Comps with 3 inch exhaust and flowmaster's, so I don't think this will be to loud for me

When I said rice..I mean 5" tips are too big for most. Manufactuers are putting them on on more systems, and then I get customers who buy them and call upset because the tips are too big, and in some cases make contact with the rear valance.

Well... here's the deal. I'm new when comes to all this camaro stuff. I drive a chevy pick up as my throw down ride. My 2010 camaro is not my daily driving car, not my main mode of transportation. So... that being said, i'm looking for just aggressive, nasty, noize. Louder, meaner is better. I've narrowed it down to a few exhaust systems.... what do ya'll think.

2" Stainless Works headers with the 3" aggressive cat-back or
1 7/8" ARH or Kooks LT with the magnaflow 2.5" comp series with the 5" tips.

Thanx for all the input. Everybody has been a big help.

If those were my choices I would recommend the AR 1 7/8" Short set-up part # CA201078SHW/C and Magnaflow 16580. The reason I recommend the AR Short set-up is because you will still utilize the Magnaflow Resonated X-pipe and it will take the harshness out of the system. If you went with the complete AR system you'd eliminate the resonated X and I can assure you it will be too loud.

I carry AR Headers as well as Magnaflow Cat-Backs if you're interested. Please feel free to call, email or PM me anytime with questions.

Kind regards,

They may "look" or "sound" too big when you hear/see the word 5". But when they are on the car they look really nice.

Yea, I think the 5 inch looks great, like it was made for the car.

Yeah, there the only tips that look close enough to the concept version. Which i really liked by the way.
