As much as everyone loves the 2.0, don't see any reason they would create a 3.0. They already have two killer options, loud (V2) and loudER (V1)

Alright, sounds good to me, as far as the tips go its not a concern for me right now.... But tuning is. Is it necessary that I get a tune after I get the MRT 2.0? I was planning on getting my car tuned if I ever got new headers or something, but I am assuming its not really that important if im just getting the MRT 2.0.

I do have injen CAI already btw

No... it is soot.... wipes right off... the MRT is straight thru... just means your flowmasters are building the soot up inside... plain and simple...

dude dont play games....one of my best friends has the mrt v2 and i tried wiping his tips....i used a variety of diff cleaners...its burnt on...kinda like how ricer exhaust burns the finish...

btw i dont have any buildup of soot...not after switching octane....our cars run rich...higher octane = more soot

check this thread and see how many different exhausts have soot:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52833

How often does your friend clean his tips? Is the soot "burnt on" or is the finish "burnt off"? I mean if you let the soot build up forever I can see it might take some serious cleaning to get it off... doesn't mean the finish underneath is burned off.. Do you have pictures?
