Forgeline GA3 - Trying to decide on finish

I'm ditching the Welds for a better quality wheel (Forgeline)

I'm extremely happy with the sizes I have now and going with the same.

Rears are 18" X 10.5 w/ 305/45 Mickey Thompson ET Streets
Fronts are 18" X 8.0 w/ 245/50 Nitto Invos

Problem is the choices are endless with colors and finishes. What do you guys think?

Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Yeah, I need to get a better pic of that one. I like #1 but that's close to what I have now. #8 looks promising too.

But they all look good..

This is one I'd like to see some more pics of. And I already know you have great taste in mods.

So do you guys suggest the R version? How does it look without caps?

Don't think I've seen any on a Camaro.

Well since you asked... Here's the deal.

The Weld R76s in 18" have a slight fitment issue and in certain twisting, turning situations something on the strut tower rubs the inside of the barrel. Doesn't happen that often but when turning into a driveway with some elevation change or something I will hear a scrape so have to be care full.

All that is well and good and they drive really well on the street and perfect for the drag strip, but I hit a curb with the left front and bent the shit out of it so it needed to be replaced. I don't want to further invest in something that doesn't fit perfectly so I consulted the wheel expert Nine Ball about getting some GA3s and if they would have the same problem. He explained the difference in the barrel and the GA3's would have an extra half inch of clearance due to the way they are made. See pics below and where the step is at.

In addition to all that. Welds are a mofo to keep clean being un-coated aluminum. Water spots and anything else are killer on these wheels. Time to bite the bullet and enlist Nine Ball to do his thing and get some real quality wheels.
