Get rid of the huge ugly wheels, rest isn't that bad... I wouldn't do it but I've seen worse.

I'm just wondering who the hell thought those wheels were a good idea? The rest of it I could see in a show car though, since they usually go all out with the gadgets that will never be used.

Ugly overdone and without taste doesnt even begin to describe this POS..... A waste of time, money and talent. I can see hard work performed, but wasted.

Your right it is impressive work to do something like this, but the wheels being so big really is a turn off.

someone who works their ass off @ their job isn't (usually) going to dump extraordinary amounts of money into a sports car to make it like this. people like that know value. 95% sure this is a drug dealer's car. the other 5% is the chance it's a marketing thing, or a completely oblivious owner.
second...the colors on this car look like a baby who just ate a box of crayola's just vomited all over the car. ANYONE who is into car audio systems know that there are 3 main types of 'customers' or 'audio enthusiasts' - those who want a quality sound system, those who want to get loud, and those who want to have 'cool looking speaker setups'. there's a reason sub boxes are ported to certain dimensions, because it maximizes the sub's ability to reproduce bass. air space is the biggest thing, why do you see people putting 4 15's in SUV's? because there is enough room and air space to make the system hit at it's full potential. this car is a shining example of a 'customs' shop completely ignoring audio quality and just having a sheer large amount of speakers to 'wow' onlookers. those don't look like focal's or hertz to me, the placement is idiotic and i'm sure other audiophiles could come in and break down why that type of system is a complete waste of money. these cars are created for one thing, attention. enthusiasts (true ones) don't waste their money on garbage like this. it's usually easy money made by dope dealers who want a 'sick ride' and have no problem dropping a few thousand (or more) to 'be the center of attention' in their neighborhood. you see this a lot in Atlanta, LA, etc. now i am not one to say custom cars are bad by any means, but even just taking 5 minutes to use my brain it would be very, very easy to customize the camaro, keeping in mind the performance and sports car aspects. the biggest issue would be wheel size, i wouldn't go beyond 22's and even then thats definitely cosmetic only, and if you want to look amazing while having the ability to shred people on the road, stick with 20's or 18's or something. my 'perfect' camaro would be: 201? 2SS/RS - New Paint Job (very, very deep black) with some adjustments - 20-22 inch black/chrome or chrome/black lip wheels - Interior job (new carpeting, new dash, console, etc. somewhat like in the video by not nearly as gaudy) - Completely re-worked front, middle and rear sound stages - Carputer - 2 12" subs - Performance modifications (supercharger or other options) That would probably be upwards of $60-70k, way more than i have! Maybe one day.. |
