M6 and 6th gear: ever use it?

It occured to me to ask if people on here with M6's ever really use 6th gear? I have a 25 mile/each/way daily commute, the "middle" 15 miles or so on the highway, so I drive the highway every day but not really for too long and it just never really seems "right" to shift into 6th. I like having the accelerating power of 4th available if needed and 5th is OK but 6th just seems too sluggish if you need to speed up real quickly.

Yep, I use 6th in the city about 35 mph if I know I am not going to encounter traffic or lights. Other than that its a highway gear.

I use it all the time on the highway, that's what it is for.

Average speed limit in my city is 40 so I usually have it in 6th.

6th gear will help your gas mileage when crusing on the highway.

All the time. I found it doesn't provide as high a ratio as one might think.

35 or 40 seems way too low for 6th gear to me. I'm at least above 60 for my tastes and what feels right to the motor (able to smoothly accelerate, no bogging, etc.).

I have a v6 m6 but this is what I do too. If i'm going over 50 and just cruising, I throw 6th. If i need to be adjusting speed to traffic, I stay in 5th at that speed.
