I just wonder how GM is going to handle this. They allowed the Hellcat to slide because it was one car. If 800+ rumor is true, they can't just ignore it.

I swear I'm trying not to be sarcastic...I get the appeal of a drag car, and high hp, and whatnot...but I genuinely don't want any of it. Even the ZL1 w/ LT4...I don't know if I'll end up playing with the engine at ALL.

650hp/650 tq is tremendous.

I'm at 500 right now and don't really think I want anymore. I can still tear around the track with quick times, but don't shred tires around town. I might do headers down the road just for kicks and giggles. I have enough as it is, granted it is still on the Zeta platform. Now the 650/650 on the Alpha has to be nuts! Floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee.

From Tom Henry.

As of now, he is recovering from a stroke. Tests done over the weekend are as positive as they can be. Initial function signs were pretty good. They are doing a speech test today so we are praying for a positive outcome there. He seems to be progressing on a typical timeline for a stroke. I am told it could be a week or 2 before we see what we are dealing with. I am in touch with the doctors and thank heavens for his friend and doc Neil who is walking me through every test result. Please don't call the hospital or Elaine as they will be overloaded. Also know the family is working on this, let us do our job. Scott has so many great friends it is hard to deal with everybody on an individual basis. The best thing you can do is Pray. Thanks to all of you for your concern.
